Dr. Amber Hearn, the founder completed her doctorate by publishing her final DMFT project titled, Breaking the Cycle of Homelessness: A Grounded Theory Needs Assessment. From this DMFT project, Dr. Hearn inspiration led her to start a non-profit. Dr. Hearn is the founder and CEO of Community Vessels Inc., a new non-profit in its developmental stages to provide services to families experiencing homelessness.
